IH (international house) co roku na wielkanoc / na wakacje organizuje kursy języka angielskiego. Odbywają się one w Oxfordzie, w St. Edwards School, które podczas roku szkolnego jest normalnym liceum z internatem.
IH (International House) every year organizes English courses for Easter / Holiday. They are organised at Oxford, in St. Edwards School, which is a normal boarding school during the school year.
W tym roku jadę już trzeci raz! Bardzo mi się tam podobało, bo stosunkowo mało czasu poświęcaliśmy językowi, a udało mi się przeskoczyć z B1 na B2! (a byłam tam 2 tygodnie)
This year I'm going for the third time! I really loved it , because I sacrificed little time (relatively) for class, and I jumped from B1 to B2! (I was there for 2 weeks)
A1 - Beginner
A2 - Elementary
B1 - Intermediate
B2 - Upper Intermediate
C1 - Advanced
C2 - Proficiency
Wygląda to mniej więcej tak: Rano (około 8:00) idziemy na śniadanie. Po śniadaniu idziemy na tzw. Morning meeting, gdzie mówią nam jakie atrakcje na dzisiaj przygotowali oraz take tam sprawy organizacyjne. Następnie są dwie 1,5h lekcje, rozdzielone 20 min. przerwą. Po lekcjach jest obiad. Jak już zjemy, to mamy albo dodatkową lekcje, albo zajęcia sportowe. Później są inne aktywne zajęcia. I w końcu - 2,5h dal siebie, podczas których możemy zjeść kolacje. Potem wszyscy razem uczestniczą w przeróżnych zawodach / zabawach / akcjach. Pod koniec dnia cały "dom" (czyli budynek w którym mieszkamy) spotyka się w salonie i jest House meeting. Koniec dnia : ) W rzeczywistości jest to o wiele, wield, wiele fajniejsze niż w moim opisie : )
It looks like this: In the morning (around 8:00) we go for breakfast. After breakfast we go to the hall for Morning meeting, where staff tell us what attractions are prepared for us and organizational issues. Then there are two 1.5 hour classes, separated by 20 min break. After classes is lunch. Then we have extra lessons or sports activities. Then there are other active classes. And finally - 2.5 h of personal time. During this time we can eat dinner. Then we all participate in various competitions / games / actions. At the end of the day "house" (the building in which we live), is meeting in the living room at the House meeting. The End : ) In fact, it is much, much, much cooler than in my description : )
